How often should I come to therapy?

This varies somewhat depending on the individual. The vast majority of Dr. Dow’s clients come once per week, every week. Following the initial evaluation, Dr. Dow will give recommendations about the frequency of sessions because each treatment plan is tailored individually for the client.

Do you take insurance?

Dr. Dow is not on any insurance panels at this time. What that means is that you are responsible for the fee at the time of the session. However, most insurance plans (PPO’s) will allow people to be at least partially reimbursed for the therapy sessions they have paid for.  Should you opt to use your insurance, she will be happy to furnish you with a bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Fees for Services

• Diagnostic evaluation/initial session- 1.5hours ($375)
• Individual session- 55 min. ($250)
• Group therapy- $75 per group session 1 hour

Payment is due at time of service.  Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are all accepted, as well as cash and checks.

Cancellation Policy

Because your appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment. The full fee will be required for sessions missed without advance notice.
